Three days one day series started between India and Australia. The first match played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai between the two Teams. India won the toss and opted to field first. While batting first, Australian Team scored 188 runs in 35.4 overs. In return, Team India achieved the target in 39.5 overs and won the match by 5 wickets. It took 11 years for Team India to win the match at Wankhede Stadium.
KL Rahul played a good innings and scored 13th fifty, Rahul played in good partnership with Jadeja of 108 runs. Jadeja scored unbeaten 45 runs and adjudged man of the match. He took two wickets and one catch.
India’s top order was failed in today’s match. Team India lost their 3 wickets at 16 runs only. Shubman Gill was bowled out for 20 runs. Virat Kohli added only 4 runs. Ishan Kishan returned to the pavilion by adding 3 runs while Suryakumar Yadav did not open the account. KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya are on the crease and will continue to play tomorrow.
Mitchell Starc took 3 wickets, while Markus took 1 wicket.
Marnus Labuschagne bowled for 16 runs. Ravindra Jadeja took a dive of approx. 10 feet to catch the bowl hit by Marnus. Mohammed Shami took the wicket of Josh English. Josh added 26 runs for the Team before his wicket down. Mitchell Marsh scored 81 runs. This was his 14th one day Cricket half century.
Mohammed Shami and Siraj took 3-3 wickets of Australian Team. Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets while Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik Pandya took 1-1 wickets each.
